Swami Sthitaprajnananda Saraswati Presents His Authored ‘Bhagavad Gita’ to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath*

“Simplified Gita Commentary in Four-Part Format — Making Ancient Wisdom Accessible to the Modern Generation”
Hyderabad, October 28, 2025: The Bhagavad Gita, a timeless symbol of India’s spiritual heritage and titled “The Mantra that Transforms a Human into a Sage”, authored by Swami Sthitaprajnananda Saraswati, Chairman of Sanatana Sindhu Satsang Trust, Hyderabad, was recently presented by the Swami to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath at the Gorakhpur Math, Gorakhpur.
Speaking on the occasion, Swami Sthitaprajnananda Saraswati said, “The Bhagavad Gita is not merely a religious scripture — it is a philosophical guide to self-realization and inner evolution. The Kurukshetra battlefield represents the moral and spiritual conflict within the human mind. The message of the Gita is to conquer this inner battle and dispel the darkness of ignorance with the light of wisdom.”
In this newly authored edition, “Bhagavad Gita — Sloka and Tatparya (Essence)”, Swami Sthitapragnananda presents the core teachings of the Vedas and Upanishads in a concise, simple, and easily comprehensible format. Each verse is divided into four key segments, with the philosophical essence clearly explained to make it accessible to readers of all ages and backgrounds.
He further elaborated, “No matter how high a person rises in life, inner attachments, desires, and ego can cloud their judgment. The Bhagavad Gita helps one attain the state of Sthitaprajna — a person of steady wisdom and equanimity — amidst life’s turmoil.”
On receiving the book, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath appreciated the Swami’s contribution and said, that “It is essential that the profound philosophy of the Bhagavad Gita reaches a wider audience. This book should be translated into Hindi and English so that its message can spread across the nation. For today’s youth, it can serve as a true beacon of spiritual guidance.”
Responding to the Chief Minister’s encouragement, Swami Sthitaprajnananda Saraswati said that “Reading and living the Bhagavad Gita are both vital for today’s youth. Amidst modern lifestyles, the Gita provides the philosophical direction needed to stay balanced and purposeful. It is like a lamp that illuminates the path of the mind through the darkness of confusion.”
Expounding further on the universal relevance of the scripture, he added, “The Bhagavad Gita is eternal — a guiding light for every human life. True spiritual illumination lies not only in reading it but in living its wisdom daily.”
Published under the main title “Krishnam Vande Jagadgurum” and subtitled “The Supreme Mantra that Transforms Humanity into Divinity”, this Bhagavad Gita authored by Swami Sthitaprajnananda Saraswati will soon be available in Hindi and English editions, following the Chief Minister’s recommendation.
