It is called yoga because it is a science that analyzes with scientific thought and says that the essence of Jivatma and Brahman are one. There is scientific spirit in thinking. That is why it is very appropriate that Andhra University, Visakhapatnam has given the title of “SPIRITUAL SCIENTIST AWARD” to Swamiji, who is promoting such a science. As part of the Gita campaign, Swamiji has provided the meaning of each verse in this book in an easy-to-understand manner for the beginners as well as the scholars.
